90 Anniversary Weekend Celebration in Bethlehem
October 1 – 3, 2010. Please join Bethlehem Hebrew Congregation as they celebrate 90 years. Programs include symposia covering BHC and Jewish history in North Country, a film, time for reminiscing, and opportunities to hike and enjoy the beautiful foliage season scenery. Film and meals are included in the cost of $100 per person or $175 per couple. One of the highlights, Aviva Kempner's film, Yoo-Hoo, Mrs. Goldberg, will be shown on Saturday at 5 PM in Bethlehem's Colonial Theatre. 2010-11 Annual Campaign Kickoff Event 7:30 PM
Join us at the Federation building for a delicious dessert reception with noted National Speaker Jane Stein. Our annual campaign is the vehicle for raising the money that allows us to support Jewish life in New Hampshire. Some of our beloved programs include the funding for the shlicha who travels the state bringing Israel to us, funding Hebrew Schools, Camp Grants, Israel Experience grants, and the Reporter, which is delivered free to all identified Jewish homes in the state. Shabbat over Squam Lake
10 AM, Etz Hayim Synagogue heads out to West Rattlesnake Hill, overlooking beautiful Squam Lake for a Shabbat morning service and Torah discussion based on nature related themes. We will share snacks and treats, hike the area, and enjoy a post High Holy Days Shabbat outing. Dress appropriately. For details contact Rabbi Rieser at 432-0004. In case of rain the hike will be on Sunday, October 3.
