The Jewish Federation of New Hampshire is distributing, free of charge*, age-appropriate Jewish-content books and music on a monthly basis to families with children from 6 months to 7 years old.
Created and supported by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation in Massachusetts, The PJ Library is funded nationally in partnership with local philanthropists and organizations. The purpose of this program is to reach out to Jewish families with young children to help create stronger Jewish homes — homes that foster children’s curiosity about their Jewish heritage and help families explore their Jewish identity.
Each month, participating children receive a high quality Jewish children’s book or CD along with resources to help families use the selection in their homes. The foremost children’s book experts have selected the book and music list, which includes a wide array of themes related to Jewish holidays, folktales and Jewish family life.
