About Us

The Jewish Federation of New Hampshire (JFNH) is a resource and contact point for Jews throughout New Hampshire. We seek to create a dynamic community where all who desire Jewish interaction are welcomed.

Through a network of partnering organizations, and guided by our Jewish values, JFNH brings together the New Hampshire Jewish community to leverage its resources to care for Jews in need here and abroad, assure the continuity of the Jewish people, support a caring relationship with the State of Israel, and mobilize on issues of concern to the local New Hampshire community.

Our Mission

The Jewish Federation of New Hampshire is a statewide organization that connects and engages the wider Jewish community of New Hampshire through meaningful local, regional, and statewide activities.

JFNH advocates for the interests of the Jewish community locally and in Israel, raises and allocates resources to enable a thriving and safe Jewish New Hampshire, and partners with the state’s synagogues to enhance and expand Jewish life throughout the state.

Jewish Federation of North America (JFNA) has adopted the IHRA definition of antisemitism.

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism:

Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.
