Join Temple Beth Abraham for an evening of Debbie Friedman songs performed by Arielle Kaplan.
Arielle Kaplan has been singing both theatrical and sacred music for most of her life. With a degree in musical theater from Brandeis University, and having trained as a songleader beginning at URJ Eisner Camp in the Berkshires, these two styles of music have been constant parallels through her life. She has been a cantorial soloist since 2007, working with synagogues and Jewish communities all over New England adding music to their simchas. Her love of Jewish music and Broadway came together in 2020 and later, 2021 when she had the honor to originate the role of Miriam in the musical of the same name, written by Debbie Friedman, Dr. Alan Kaplan, and Tom Anastasi.
Appetizers and desserts begin at 6pm.
Performance begins at 7 pm.
Register at our website by Thursday, November 30. Event is free, but a suggested donation of $18 is appreciated.
