Combatants for Peace
If you yearn for peace in the Middle East but don't believe it can happen in your lifetime, consider coming to one of three public presentations by Palestinian Jamel Qassas and Israeli Netta Hazan, ex-fighters from opposite sides of the conflict who not only believe that peace is possible, they're modeling what it looks like. They are members of Combatants for Peace, a grassroots organization founded on the conviction that the cycle of violence will end when Israelis and Palestinians join forces to oppose what the Combatants consider their common enemy - the occupation. The organization's groundbreaking work has earned its founders a nomination for the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize. More information Joel Berman: joelcberman@gmail.com
