On Sunday, February 5, 2023, Etz Hayim Synagogue invites children to participate in a Parsley Planter Painting Project. All are then invited to a Tu B’Shevat Seder presentation of “The LorEtz of Derry” - a melodramatic Seder, based on Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, celebrating Tu B’Shevat – The New Year of Trees. The children’s activity begins at 4:00 PM. They will paint flower pots and plant parsley and radish seeds to grow in time for Passover. At 4:45 PM, Rabbi Levy and Amy Dattner-Levy will lead us in a Tu B’Shevat Seder, highlighted by a variety of fruits and hearing the lessons taught in The Lorax. The event is free and open to all, however, RSVPs are required by January 29: Children’s activity - RSVP to Jay Madnick at email@example.com. Seder – RSVP to Rabbi@etzhayim.org.
