PJ Our Way readers ages 9–12 in Vermont and New Hampshire are invited to read the PJ Our Way books Faraway Summer by Johanna Hurwitz and/or Duck Dreams by Elizabeth Segel. We will meet at Billings Farm and Museum for a farm adventure and book discussion! Together we’ll explore farm history by making butter, learning about sheep and wool, and creating a felted bookmark.
Parents and additional children not participating in the program are welcome to tour the museum during our session at a discounted admission ($9 children ages 3+, $13 adults; under 3 free), payable at the door by credit card. PJ Our Way aged children participating in the program are free. Donations are welcome.
Sunday, May 31st, 9:45am, Woodstock, VT.
Program sponsored through PJ Library of Vermont and PJ Library of New Hampshire, Woodstock Area Jewish Community Shir Shalom and Kol Ha’emek, the Upper Valley Jewish Community; all are welcome.
Registration Closes May 14th. Register by May 4 to receive your free book in time to read it; after that date, families must obtain their own copy (limited loaners available).
