The Jewish Federation of New Hampshire Presents: Memories in the Living Room
7 PM, Manchester (address will be given with RSVP)
Zikaron BaSalon offers a new, meaningful and intimate way to commemorate this day and address its implications through discussion at home among family, friends and guests. It is a unique and authentic tradition of people gathering to open their hearts to the stories of the survivors, sing, think, read, talk and most importantly - listen. Bodo Schrader is a New Hampshire Holocaust Survivor who, along with daughter Margot, has been working to piece together his experiences and to rebuild connections to Jewish heritage and long lost family in Germany. The Schrader's story was recently featured on NHPR's "Word of Mouth". Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
