The Jewish Federation of New Hampshire is hirining an Administrative Assistant
Reports To: Executive Director
Location: Jewish Federation of New Hampshire Office - Bedford, NH
Part Time (24 hours per week) On-site only
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As the Administrative Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to day operations of JFNH. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our organization by ensuring the smooth functioning of our administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and office supplies
• Provide administrative support to staff and board members
• Assist coordinating events, meetings, and workshops
• Maintain and update records, databases, and filing systems
• Handle incoming phone calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate individuals.
• Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as needed
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
• Manage the front-desk and reception areas, serving as the first point of contact for guests and vendors
• Keep the office clean, stocked, and organized, especially the kitchen, storage closets, and communal areas
• Create bi-weekly community e-Blasts and other emails as needed
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in administrative roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software with an emphasis of use of Nonprofit CRM tools (training provided for the right candidate)
• Experience with Social Media marketing and communication a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining confidentiality
• Able to multitask and work independently
• Professional dress and image
• Enthusiastically promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• High attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines
