Job Opening for Zoom Teacher
September – May, 2023-2024
Maximum of 10 Sessions
Temple B’nai Israel in Laconia, NH is seeking a religious school teacher for zoom lessons only.
School would meet from 10 a.m. – 12 noon on the dates listed below.
The zoom teacher would be teaching holidays, Jewish values and culture, Bible, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. to the younger group (now only 4 students, ages 6 – 9)). From 11 – 12 noon, zoom teacher would use the first half hour for non-Hebrew subjects (there are only 2 students, ages 11 and 12) and use the second half hour for Hebrew and prayer practice). Both of these students also have a separate B/M tutor.
Salary: $60 per two-hour session (zoom teacher would not be teaching 10 – 10:30 a.m. slot. It will be considered prep time for zoom teacher.)

- September 10
- September 24 (morning of Kol Nidre and can be eliminated if necessary)

The other 5 sessions (listed below) will be family programs in person, which the Rabbi of Temple B’nai Israel is committed to planning and implementing, but if the zoom teacher had an interest in participating in person in any of them, they would be additionally compensated.
- September 16: First Day RH, Tashlich and afternoon activities
- October 8: gleaning for Sukkot
- December 10: Chanukah Party
- March 23: Purim Party
- June 9: End of the year picnic/Maccabiyah
