What are we saying when we are praying? Our liturgical tradition is rich and varied with thousands of words devoted to praising, asking, thanking , and more. In this session, we will look at some of the whys and hows of Jewish prayer, with examples from various prayer books (including but not limited to those from the Reform tradition) as well as Rabbinic literature dealing with prayer as a practice. This session is the continuation of a series but you do not have to have have attended last month to participate. This is a hybrid event that can be attended at Betenu or via Zoom.
