Fundraiser for the Conway Area Humane Society

The Mount Washington Valley Chavurah is inviting both adults and children to come to the Conway Area Humane Society on Saturday, August 19th at noon to celebrate the New Year for the Animals. This holiday is on the Hebrew calendar but is often overlooked. It is a day to reflect on our relationships with both our domesticated animals as well as those which are necessary to support our human lifestyles.

As part of the celebration, and in furtherance of our mission, we are suggesting that you can help us help the Conway Area Humane Society by bringing either a cash donation or an item from the Shelter’s Wish List: https://www.conwayhumane.org/give/donate/#wishlist on that day. The Chavurah will be providing pizza and drinks after which both children and adults will have a chance to interact with the animals at the shelter or perhaps even adopt a new family member.

If you are planning on attending, please email mwvchavurah@gmail.com with the number of people coming so we can order the right amount of food. The final day for replying is Friday, August 18th.

Remember – this is a fundraiser for the shelter so please do your best to support all that they do for our valley and our furry friends.
