Temple Israel, Portsmouth, is pleased to offer an important 8-part class series prepared by the highly respected Shalom Hartman Institute on pivotal events in Israeli history: 1917, 1947, and 1967. The series includes video, text study, and discussion led by Rabba Kaya Stern-Kaufman, and is sponsored by the Israel Affairs Committee with support from the Cultural Endowment Fund.
The classes will include video lectures from leading Israeli scholars, text study and discussion. We hope to meet in person and via Zoom. The class will meet on Sunday mornings, 10:30 - noon on: 10/17, 10/31, 11/14, 12/12, 12/19, 1/9, 1/23, 2/6.
