Antigone in Munich tells the true story of Sophie Scholl and the White Rose Society, a German Resistance group during WWII. The play follows Sophie in the years before and during WWII and her courageous resistance to the Nazi regime. Sophie finds inspiration from the story of Antigone, and the character's bravery. In secret, Sophie and her brother go from witnesses to activists. The story is inspired by Sophocles' Greek tragedy Antigone which asks "What do you do when the laws of man contradict the laws of God?"
