The Seniors Forever Young "Lunch & Learn" series continues in 2023 with a guest lecture by Temple Israel Portsmouth member Dr. Karl Singer on "Ways to Maximize Your Health".

12:00pm at the Jewish Federation of New Hampshire in Bedford.

A bagel lunch will be provided beginning at noon; Dr. Singer will join us on Zoom at roughly 12:30pm. If you wish to join us virtually, please specify when registering. 

About Dr. Singer:

Since 1968, Dr. Singer, a noted family physician and geriatrician, has explored multiple aspects of medicine, holding such varied roles as the General Medical Officer and Director of the Indian Health Service in Chinle AZ, to the President and Medical Director of Exeter Clinic. Currently, he is Medical Director and Attending Physician at the Rockingham County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brentwood, work he began in 1975. Notably, the entrance to the Center has been named after him.

Dr. Singer has, at the same time, been the Medical Director of Patient Care Magazine and its frequent contributor.  In fact, Dr. Singer’s work includes over 200 publications. They cover too many topics to catalogue, but a small sample includes: Do Music!, The Road to Aging Well, Rating Doctors, Miracles, Big Gains Against Obesity, Confronting Catastrophic Illness, Lessons from the Navaho, What’s the Real Cost of Switching Drugs, May Your Patients Live a Long Healthy Life -Outside the Nursing Home, and Recognizing the Common Problems Quickly.
