Author Terry Nelson presents the life of the late Manchester businessman Edward M. Chase, who Terry describes as an “incredible man”. Mr. Chase came to Manchester in the 1880’s and went on to own a furniture store and have many real estate holdings. He had a keen sense of social responsibility that led him to build houses for his workers, philanthropic efforts in his native Lithuania and funding of a Chase Peace Prize at Dartmouth and Harvard.
