Holocaust Remembrance Day will be observed at Temple Israel in Portsmouth with a memorial service led by Rabbi Ira Korinow and members of the Portsmouth Ministerium. Guest speakers will include graduates from the Holocaust Legacy Fellows Program, who will speak of their experiences visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau, Majdanek, and Treblinka. Following the remembrance service in the sanctuary, coffee and refreshments will follow in the Levenson Social Hall, where a Holocaust-related exhibit will be available for viewing. This event is free and open to the public.
